How to Complain about NHS services in the NHS East Midlands Area

Since April 2009 there has been a single complaints procedure across Health and Social Care.  If  you wish to complain about your care or treatment you should contact the Complaints Manager at the organisation which provided your care eg your GP surgery, dentist, optometrist, pharmacy, health clinic or hospital or the organisation which commissioned that care eg  your local Primary Care Trust.

All NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) have Complaints Managers. Here is a list of trusts across NHS East Midlands.

There are also rules governing business complaints.  Follow this link for more information.

If you have a complaint about NHS East Midlands you should write to Sir Neil McKay at:

Chief Executive
NHS East Midlands
Octavia House
Interchange Business Park
Bostock’s Lane
Sandiacre
Nottinghamshire
NG10  5QG

or alternatively, telephone 0115 9684464 or e-mail

We also  welcome any general comments or compliments you may have about the services you have received.  These comments are important in letting organisations know what is contributing to a good experience for patients.  Please use our contact form if you'd like to do this via email. If you'd prefer to write to us or telephone the details are above.
