Single Equality Scheme and Equality Impact Assessments
Some of the key documents we produce to help us to achieve these aims are available below including our Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs) and our Single Equality Scheme. The Single Equality Scheme was formally reviewed in September 2009 and updated in November 2009. There will be a review of the Single Equality Scheme achievements and progress at each SHA Equality leads group meeting.
The group members reflect SHA directorates; trade union partners from Unison and the RCN are also members.
The SHA Equality Leads group, which meets bi-monthly, will take forward promotion and monitoring of equalities within the SHA. Compliance is monitored quarterly through Board reporting.
