Directors' expenses 2011/12

NHS East Midlands has decided to proactively publish summary details of expenses claimed by Board Members (i.e. the non executive directors, voting executive directors and those non-voting directors who regularly attend the board).

The tables below show the amount of expenses claimed for reimbursement by the named Board member, broken down by category during the month shown.

We will continue to update this information on a regular basis.

Dame Barbara Hakin – National Managing Director of Commissioning Development from August 2010

Since 1 August 2010 Dr Hakin has been seconded to the Department of Health as the Managing Director of Commissioning Development. This role is to help the clinical and managerial community within the NHS engage with and drive forward the reforms set out in the Government’s Health and Social Care Bill 2011. Dr Hakin is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development of the new commissioning architecture including Clinical Commissioning Groups and the NHS Commissioning Board.
