Freedom of Information

As part of the changes brought about by the Health and Social Care Act 2012, the Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs) ceased to exist from 31 March 2013. Their responsibilities will transfer to the NHS Commissioning Board and a range of other organisations.

NHS Commissioning Board

NHS England is at the heart of the new health and care system making sure that NHS services deliver the best possible care for patients.  You can submit  FOI requests to the following email address:- nhscommissioningboard@hscic.gov.uk

Department of Health

The DH sets objectives and budgets and holds the system to account on behalf of the Secretary of State for Health.

Health Education England

HEE is the 'people service' for health and healthcare. It is responsible for the education, training and development of the healthcare workforce.

Public Health England

PHE provides public health leadership and expertise. It works to improve the nation's health and well being and to reduce health inequalities.

Trust Development Authority

This supports NHS trusts to secure sustainable, high quality services for the patients and communities it serves.

NHS Choices provides information on conditions, treatments, local services and healthy living.
