Request
- What does your organisation currently do with its waste electronic or electrical equipment?
-
Does your organisation pay to dispose of this equipment? If so how much is it per anum?
-
Is the disposal of your waste electronic/electrical equipment governed by a contract ? If so when does the contract period come up for renewal?
-
Please advise on the steps we need to take if we wish to be considered to provide a free clearance service for all your waste electronic and electrical equipment?

Thank you for your letter to Kevin Orford. Your letter has been assessed as falling within the remit of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIRs).
I can confirm in accordance with the EIRs, that we do not hold all of the information that you have requested. However, I will address each of your concerns in turn:

We have an arrangement with Derbyshire Health Informatics Service for them to dispose of the majority of the electrical equipment we have which is in the form of computers, laptops and screens. We have no formal tender in place for this. For the small amount of mobile phones the organisation disposes of we use ShP Ltd (http://shplimited.co.uk/).
