Thank you for your response this morning especially give the short notice.  Since the document is not dated (only the date of the meeting that the report refers to is shown):

(i) please advise when this document was received by yourselves,

(ii) can you offer any insight as to how this report is acted upon (who is it passed on to and the actions taken by EMSHA as a result of it)

Our Response

I refer to your email requesting information in respect of the review of stand-alone birth centres in Derbyshire.

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do hold the information that you have requested. I will address each of your concerns in turn:

(i)            please advise when this document was received by yourselves,

• NHS Midlands and East (East Midlands Office) received the document on 20 September 2011.

(ii)          can you offer any insight as to how this report is acted upon (who is it passed on to and the actions taken by EMSHA as a result of it)

• The report was passed forward to NHS Derbyshire with a request that they respond to the conclusions in the report. No further action has been taken by NHS Midlands and East (East Midlands Office).
