I believe you are the host organisation for NHS Improvement? If you are not, please can you direct me to the right place to make an FOIA request. If you are, please provide the following information.
NHS Improvement has been doing some work for NHS Bristol on Pathology Services. They identified this issue:
"Currently no benchmarking data for current and future pathology service against national centres of excellence (amount of specialisation, research, staffing comparisons, attrition and long term sickness rates, equipment, facilities)"
As at 9th August 2011, NHS Improvement (Jamie Balloch) had gathered current baseline data "and presentation being pulled together".
Please provide me with the presentation and the raw data that supports it.
Our Response
I refer to your email requesting information in respect of the work NHS Improvement has been doing for NHS Bristol on Pathology Services.
I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold the information that you have requested.
I am able to confirm that whilst NHS Improvement is working with NHS Bristol on Pathology services, it has not collected and does not have any raw data , baseline data or other information relating to “specialisation, research, staffing comparisons, attrition and long term sickness rates, equipment, facilities“
It is also the case that NHS Improvement has not prepared and does not have a presentation containing baseline data or benchmarking data or other information relating to “specialisation, research, staffing comparisons, attrition and long term sickness rates, equipment, facilities"
