ICT Spend

Request

Below is a Freedom of Information request.

The purpose of this request is to help drawing a picture of ICT in the health sector. The results will be used in aggregated form.

I do understand that for some organisations, information will not always be available and broken down the way I ask for it (see below). However, any information which you are able to provide would be most helpful and appreciated.

The aggregated findings will contribute to an online service which delivers spend data, forecasted spend, organisation profiles, news and analysis about the public sector in the UK. OGC, UKTI and the Treasury are users of this service. This helps the leading ICT and BPO suppliers to government to understand public sector end user markets.

Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act please provide me by email with answers to the following questions:

1) Could you please provide us with your organisation's 2010/11 and 2011/12 total ICT budget or estimate?

2) Could you please provide us with your ICT budget and spend for 2010/11 and 2011/12 for the following product and service categories. Please provide the name of the largest suppliers for each category and the top three product (brand) names (for hardware only).

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold all of the information that you have requested.  However, the information that we do hold can be found in the pdf attachment.
