This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

You have been advertising on NHS Jobs 'East Midlands Foundation Schools F2 LAT Recruitment 2011',  applications closing on April 28th.

I am requesting two pieces of information:

• How many F2 vacancies were available?

• How many qualified applicants were there per vacancy?

Our Response

I refer to your email requesting information in respect of East Midlands Foundation Schools F2 LAT recruitment in 2011.

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do  hold the information that you have requested.  I will address each of your points in turn:

How many F2 vacancies were available?

• The number of vacancies is on the East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery website at the following link:

  http://www.eastmidlandsdeanery.nhs.uk/page.php?id=1483

How many qualified applicants were there per vacancy?

• There were a total of 264 applications with 113 being put through to shortlisting.  This is equivalent to the number of people meeting the minimum person specification.

• The interview process for shortlisted candidates is on-going.  The interviews will take place in early June.
