Please make available details for the following Pathfinder Consortia    

•      Principia

•      Bassetlaw Commissioning Organisation

•      Nene Commissioning Community Interest Company

Information required is –

• Consortia membership (Practice Name, Address, NHS Organisation Code)

• Lead Practice (or Head Office) details

• Please fulfil this FoI request by electronic means using open standards (PDF, text file, CSV).

Our Response

I refer to your email requesting information in respect of Pathfinder Consortia. 

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold all of the information that you have requested.  However, I will address each of your points in turn: 

Consortia membership (Practice Name, Address, NHS Organisation Code)

• NHS East Midlands holds the numbers of practices within each consortia but not the individual practice information that you are asking for.   

• Regarding this outstanding information, we feel that it is exempt by reason of Section 22 of the FOIA.  Section 22  refers to information that is for publication at a later date and is a qualified exemption subject to consideration of the public interest test. We recognise that there is a public interest in providing this information to you in order to be helpful, and to promote accountability and transparency of government. However, in this case, there are strong arguments to support the use of the future publication exemption on the basis that the best use of public resources would be directed to pulling this information together, ensuring the information is accurate and published in a consistent and comprehensive format.

Lead Practice (or Head Office) details

• This information is in the public domain and is therefore exempt under Section 21 of the FOIA.  Section 21 relates to information that is already reasonably accessible to the applicant.  However, the following link to our website will enable you to access the details that you require:
