Dear East Midlands Strategic Health Authority,
I am trying to find out information in respect of former Loughborough GP, (I believe worked at the Pinfold Gate Medical Practice). I understand that Dr is no longer a registered GP and was convicted of sexually assaulting patients (a lot of this information is in the public domain).
My question is about whether any compensation was applied for, from either the WMSA or the PCT, in respect of this case? That is:
1. Did patient victims seek or receive any form of compensation for their ordeal? I understand that you may not know whether they received criminal injuries compensation, instead, my query is about civil compensation (i.e. for the Health Authority's failure of their duty of care to protect those patients from Green's activities).
2. If compensation was applied for, was it sought by individual patients, or as a group action? Please note that although I am legally qualified, I am NOT seeking this information for the purpose of (potential) litigation: I am an academic researcher, writing in the area of medical crime. I require no identifying details of patients and/or staff, or any other individuals.

I can confirm, in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), that following a document search of our organisation, we do not hold the information that you have requested.
