Under the freedom of information act I'd like to obtain the following information:
1) Quantity of waste arising across the hospitals for which you have responsibility
2) Composition of the waste arisings across the hospitals for which you have responsibility, for example what % is food waste compared to clinical waste?
3) Waste arisings associated with the foodservice elements of the hospital operations.
4) Composition of the food waste arisings associated with the foodservice elements of the hospital operations, for example what % is food waste compared to packaging waste?
If you do not have this information and can point me to where I might get it that would be very helpful. I am trying to build a national picture of the waste associated with the food service elements of hospital operations

After considering the substance of your request it has been assessed as falling within the ambit of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (the ‘Regulations’). However, I can confirm that NHS East Midlands does not hold the information you have requested.
