Dear Sir/Madam,
RE: Request for information
under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
I would like to make a request for
information under the Freedom of Information Act.
Please state for the following
financial years: (a) 2005-06; (b) 2006-07; (c) 2007-08; and (d) so
far in 2008-09
- How much you have spent in payments to Public Relations
companies.
- Please list all companies which have received payments so far
in 2008-09 and the reason for which they were contracted to deliver
services in each case.
Please note that I am not requesting
details of the amount paid to each individual company to protect
commercial confidentiality.
Processing this
request
If you have any queries relating to
this request or need clarification on any issue, I would be
grateful if you could contact me. If there is any refusal to part
or all of my request, please could you suggest how the request may
be modified so as to be granted under Section 16 of the Act? In
particular, where you judge that this request exceeds the cost
limit, I would like you to provide me with advice on how I may
modify the request so as to enable it to be granted.
May I take this opportunity to say how
much I appreciate the time you give to responding to Freedom of
Information act requests. The information you provide is
always extremely useful and assists us greatly in our research and
policy development. I am very grateful for your
help.
