Request
Dear Sir or
Madam,
I would like a
breakdown of the total number of non-medical
positions filled by external recruitment agencies (permanent or
contract positions) from April 2007 to March 2008 and April 2008 to
January 2009. The breakdown should show job title, banding,
salary/contract rate paid, agency name and agency fee
paid.
I would also like
to know how much was spent by the trust on agency fees for the
non-medical positions relative to all agency fees paid for the
periods requested.
If any part of
the request is unclear, please contact me at this
address.

Our Response
Freedom
of Information
I refer to your
email of 23 February requesting the following
information:-
- I would like a breakdown of the total
number of non-medical positions filled by external recruitment
agencies (permanent or contract positions) from April 2007 to March
2008 and April 2008 to January 2009. The breakdown should
show job title, banding, salary/contract rate paid, agency
name and agency fee paid.
- I would also like to know how much
was spent by the trust on agency fees for the non-medical positions
relative to all agency fees paid for the periods
requested.
I can confirm in
accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that
we do not hold the information that you have requested in the
format required.
Please note that
NHS East Midlands recruits neither permanent or contract
non-medical positions from external recruitment agencies.
Candidates for permanent positions apply for posts via NHS Jobs
http://www.jobs.nhs.uk/
.
NHS East Midlands
contract positions are recruited using our organisation’s
procurement framework process. These positions are therefore
not contracted through external recruitment agencies either.
Whilst we do use
external agencies for the recruitment of temporary staff, our
records do not allow us to interrogate this information in a way
that would identify our spend on agency fees for non-medical
positions relative to agency fees for the periods
requested.
Please note that
if you are dissatisfied with the way in which we have dealt with
your request you can complain in writing to:-
