financial consultants in your Strategic Health Authority, under the
Freedom of Information Act.
Please could you
let me know:
What the cost of
the East Midlands Strategic Health Authority's contracts
with
a) management
consultants,
b) financial
consultants,
c) any other
external consultant (including marketing and public relations) has
been in each of the last five years?

Our response
I refer to your
email of 26 February requesting information in respect of NHS East
Midlands spend on external management.
I can confirm in
accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that
we hold some of the information that you have requested and this is
included in the attached pdf file.
Please note that
we cannot provide the information requested as far back as five
years ago as NHS East Midlands did not exist prior to July
2006. Also, for the period 2006/07, we can only provide the
information requested in respect of one of our predecessor
organisations, the Trent Strategic Health Authority. We do
not hold the information for the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire
and Rutland Strategic Health Authority, which was the other one.
I do hope that
this information is of use to you. However, please note that
